My New Year

Whenever people ask me how my preparations for the wedding are coming along, I would give the same candid reply, “Everything has started, nothing has been completed.”

And I think this reply will hold for quite some time.

A quick check on our wedding preparations’ list:
House: Found (yeah!)
Wedding venue: Found (yeah!)
Bridal studio and pre-wedding photography: Found (yeah!)
Actual day and ROM photography: Found today (yeah!)
ROM lunch venue: Found (yeah!)
Wedding videography: Still searching (oh no!)

We had a short break during this Lunar New Year period and most of the tasks will kick in after the new year.

Today is the last day of the year of the Dog, coincidentally, it is also my 25th birthday. And a friend reminded me, it is my last birthday as a single! What a “scary” thought! Just three days ago, I celebrated my last Valentine’s Day as a single too.

With so many things going on recently, I did not really have the time to sit back and relish my single moments though.

Valentine’s Day this year is the most comical one I celebrated. There is a part one and a part two segment to it, and adding both parts up make it a really romantic occasion! I won’t share details though, ask me in person! =)

It’s less than an hour to the arrival of the year of the Pig, the year when I will make the most important decision in my life.

I am looking forward to it. =P

第一次到现场看球赛，就看到球员中途罢踢离场的一幕。

由于很少看球赛，当球员一个个走到板凳时，我还天真地问：“这样做可以吗？”

答案是可以，也是不可以。

如果体育运动员具有体育精神，当然会遵守比赛规则，有始有终，对自己和球迷有一个交代。
可是，如果球员没有体育家的精神，上了球场要怎么乱踢（或不踢）都随你。

昨晚的那场球赛，泰国队输了，但是不仅仅是最后以1比2败给新加坡，球队在离场的那一刹那，他们早就已经输了。他们就是败在缺乏体育精神。即使泰国队昨晚最终取得了胜利，也不见得值得庆祝。

在球赛中双方球员同时跃起顶球，结果双双倒地的情况时常发生。球员不满裁判的决定，在球场上与裁判起争议的情形也很常见。

可是，球队不满裁判的判决而罢踢，这还是第一次出现在亚细安赛。

我起初以为是球员擅作主张离开球场，对他们胆大包天的行为感到诧异。后来得知是教练唆使他们这么做，让我对教练的行为百思不得其解。

罢踢表示抗议，最终不爽地回场继续踢，这两点都不对。复复得正的道理在这里也行不通。

我可以理解泰国队对裁判的决定不满，却不能苟同他们宣泄不满的方式。

新加坡队接下来将到曼谷参与亚细安足球锦标赛第二回合的决赛。虽然最终的比数很重要，但是我认为只要球员做好本分，维持体育精神，他们就已经算是打了一场漂亮的胜仗。
